Managing workplace performance
You realise that having a six-step process to help you uncover the underlying issues and knowing how to apply appropriate performance management and discipline processes will help drive high performance in your organisation.
Program overview
Managing poor performance can be time-consuming and personally taxing. Poor performers can also have a significant impact on business measures such as productivity, customer satisfaction, absenteeism and morale.
This program will ensure that you are aware of the laws that relate to managing performance issues, disciplining employees and termination of employment. You will learn a simple process for conducting performance discussions which uncover any underlying issues, convey clear expectations and ensure due process is followed.
In addition, you will develop and practise key skills for conducting effective performance discussions, focusing on the approach and delivery of the message.
This program aims to provide you with increased confidence and competence to deal with performance issues so that the risk of escalation, bullying or stress claims is minimised and an optimal outcome for both the organisation and the employee is achieved.
