Sarah Christensen, consultant, IKD – Sarah is a lawyer with over 20 years of experience in providing legal advice, corporate governance and company secretarial services. She was previously general counsel and head of legal of a number of organisations. Her career has spanned various sectors including resources, financial services, property and the legal profession.
In her consulting role with IKD, Sarah assists legal teams in measuring and improving their performance. She also assists businesses in their formulation, review and assessment of corporate governance frameworks. She has wide experience with private and publicly listed companies, including those in heavily regulated sectors such as financial services. She has also advised on risk management and also designs and delivers training programs on these topics.
Sarah has degrees in economics and law from Monash University as well as an LLM and an MBA from the University of Melbourne. She currently lectures on corporate governance to post graduate students at Monash University and is vice-chairperson of a leading not-for-profit independent school, Carey Baptist Grammar School.
